Cinderella is a thick-headed naive girl who comes of age through her adventure involving diamond slippers, a mouse, and Robin Hood.

They are quick reads, they are sexy, and they’re worth it for the huntsman alone. If you want a fairy tale to wow you, pick up Sarah P inborough’s novellas. The series becomes even more fun as it continues. The big revelation was sadly obvious and predictable but I’ll come back for some more Lunar Chronicles, anyways. Altogether, an enjoyable read with only a few boring moments.

I am just one person slightly obsessed with fairy tales who jots down book titles whenever they sound like a fairy tale inspired them. This is not a comprehensive list by any means.

So here is where I collect all the fairy tale retellings I can find and write a little bit about how I liked them. Nowadays, the amount of fairy tale retellings and fairy tale inspired novels being published is staggering and it’s difficult to remember all the books that I may want to read. I’ve loved them since I was a small child and they continue to intrigue me.
